Brett thrived in roofing contracting "On the Top" Roofing—taming crews through brutal winters, sealing leaks under relentless rain—but the 2007 housing crash slammed the brakes. Undeterred, he pivoted to code: Mastering HTML/CSS/JavaScript in late '07, MySQL by 2010, C++ for depth, and Python five years ago to weave it all.
